Submission date for bids is 8 June
Qatar’s Public Works Authority (Ashgal) has invited contractors to bid for a contract to build peripheral roads around its Barwa City development in Doha.
Contractors have until 8 June to submit bids for the deal, which has a bid bond of QR15m ($4.1M).
In 2007, Germany’s Bilfinger Berger was awarded the QR4.9bn contract to build the Barwa City residential development. The contract involves the construction of 6,000 residential properties and community facilities. The project covers a total area of 2.7 million square metres. US-based Aecom is the consultant.
The client is the local Barwa Real Estate Company.
