Qatar's Supreme Education Council is set to announce salary increases at the country's independent schools including the licence owners as well as the Qatari and expatriate teachers and staff starting next month, the Peninsula has reported, citing unnamed sources. The salary of a teacher will begin from QR20,000 to QR40,000 including allowances while the licence owner's salary will reach QR60,000 including allowances.
