State looking to create investment opportunities for private sector
Qatar has realised the importance of upgrading its roads, rail, airline and maritime and has tackled head on the issue of infrastructure, said Nasser Khodr, from the Business & Trade Ministry at MEED’s Qatar Transport conference in Doha on 7 June.
Qatar has reached out to outside world to launch cooperation with them as it aims to build a multi-modal air and rail systems.
Khodr also says that Qatar has not forgotten to create investment opportunities for the private sector and partnerships will be formed to allow the private sector to contribute.
