Qatar is looking to become a new destination for cruise liners. The Qatar Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (QTEA) has deployed a delegation to take part in a regional meeting in Dubai which is to review procedures adopted by every country in the Gulf where cruise liners are to make a stopover. The QTEA is to discuss with major tour operators and cruise companies the possibility of adding Qatar on the cruising map.
