QNB issuance is valued at $630m
Qatar’s QNB Group has completed a Formosa bond issuance under its Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN) programme in the Taiwanese capital markets.
The $630m tranche was issued on 13 September 2017 with a maturity of 30 years callable every five years, carrying a fixed coupon rate of 5 per cent a-year.
The issuance was arranged by Standard Chartered Bank.
QNB was the GCC’s largest listed lender by assets at the end of 2016, with about $76bn separating the bank from its closest rival, Dubai’s Emirates NBD, according to MEED’s annual ranking of the GCC’s largest banks.
