Qatari contractor to build School of Foreign Services

The local Midmac Contracting has been awarded an the $165m contract to build the School of Foreign Services, at Education City in Qatar.

The 19-month contract involves the construction of offices, IT services, a library, classrooms and a car park over a total built-up area of about 50,000 square metres.

The architect is Mexico’s Legoretta & Legoretta. The local office of KEO International Consultants is the project manager.

Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development is the client.
