Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company, the developer of the multi-billion dollar Lusail project in Doha's West Bay, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the sultanate's Tourism Ministry for the development of an eco-resort at Ras al-Hadd. The resort, which will spread over 2 million square metres, will include hotels, a scientific centre and retail and leisure facilities. Beirut-based Dar al-Handasah (Shair & Partners)carried out the masterplan (MEED 11:3:05).
