RAK Ceramics has reported a 3.2% increase in net profit for the year 2010 to Dhs270.2m ($73.5m), compared to Dhs261.9m in the previous year. The increase in net profit was achieved despite an 11.5% drop in consolidated revenue to Dhs3.33bn in 2010 from Dhs3.77bn in 2009, mainly due to the slump in the construction sector, the firm said.
