Prequalification deadline for consultancy contract is 1 February

Ras al-Khaimah Sewerage Authority has invited firms to submit prequalification documents for surveying, design and consultancy services for the rehabilitation of sewer networks in the city.

The deadline for prequalification is 1 February 2015.

The scope of work involves assessing 31.5 kilometres of main sewer pipelines, thought to be in poor condition. It also includes preparing an assessment report, preliminary designs, costing, feasibility, detailed designs and tender documents by June 2015.

The authority will tender the main construction and supervision contracts in mid-2015.

The 300km sewerage network in Ras al-Khaimah city was completed in 2007 by the local/Indian Jog Union Engineering.
