Abu Dhabi'S ADX General Index lost slightly and closed at 2,515.39 points amid heavy losses in the real estate development sector. Aldar Properties (off 2.29% at Dhs3.01) and Sorouh Real Estate (plummeting 4.46% at Dhs1.92) in particular pulled the index down. Energy heavyweights ended mixed, with Taqa losing 2.73% at Dhs1.07. On the contrary, Dana Gas, which specializes in the exploration, production, processing, transport, distribution, and sales of natural and liquefied, was most actively traded in relation to volume, gaining 4.76% at Dhs0.66 as the board said it will consider buying back shares.
