Saudi Arabia’s Communications and Information Technology Commission has announced registration of Arabic domain names in the kingdom is set to begin on September 27, Arab News has reported. The Saudi Network Information Centre (SaudiNIC) will handle the registration for any entity or individual on a first-come-first-served basis, CITC said. Qualified registrants in the first phase are any entity or individual with a registered trade name or mark at the commerce and industry ministry, including all governmental or semi-governmental authorities and organizations, the regulator added.
