Royal Jordanian announced that it will resume flights between Amman and the Belgian capital, Brussels, starting April 1, 2009. RJ President/CEO Samer Majali said the scheduled direct service to Brussels has been resumed for commercial reasons, following studies of the Belgian market, which indicated that it is feasible to reconnect Jordan and Belgium. The open skies policy signed by the two countries in June grants Jordan the 3rd and 4th freedom rights to operate between Amman and Brussels directly and with unlimited frequencies.
