Rolls-Royce signs $1.2bn engine services contract with Emirates

Emirates Airline has signed a $1.2bn (Dhs4.4bn) agreement with Rolls-Royce to provide contracted engine services powering 50 of the Dubai-based carrier's 152 wide-bodied aircraft. As part of the deal, Rolls-Royce is to provide TotalCare long term services support for Trent 700 engines powering 29 Airbus A330 aircraft and Trent 800 engines powering 21 Boeing 777 aircraft.
