Royal Commission awards building design contract

The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu has awarded Saudi Consulting Services a SR40m ($11m) building services design contract.

The scope covers the design and engineering of a range of buildings within Jubail and has a duration of five-years.

Saudi Consulting Services will carry out the work in association with the US’ Wilbur Smith Associates.

In June, the commission issued to bid four more construction contracts at Jubail and Yanbu. The packages cover site preparation works and vary in value between SR200m and SR400m (MEED 19:07:08).
