Royal Commission for Jubail & Yanbu awards three housing contracts worth SR785m

The local REDICO has won two housing contracts worth SR527m ($140m) to build 412 residential housing units in Jubail.

The package is split with 196 and 216 houses, worth SR243m and SR284m respectively. The local Azmeel Contracting Company secured a third housing contract for a further 193 residential units with a contract worth SR258m.

The Royal Commission for Jubail & Yanbu is the client.

Construction duration is due to last 24 months.

In February, the Royal Commission for Jubail & Yanbu awarded the local Al-Muhaidib Contracting Company a SR278m contract to build 240 public housing units in the western city of Yanbu on the Red Sea.

Seven other companies bid for the project including the local El-Seif Contracting Company and Azmeel Contracting Company (MEED 13:02:08).
