The work consists of rough grading of an area covering approximately 2.1 million square metres.

A preliminary bid meeting will be held on 30 August and the bid opening will take place on 4 November.

In June, the commission awarded Saudi Services for Electro Mechanic Works a SR400m ($107m) contract for electrical works at Jubail 2. The project duration is two and a half years and covers work on the stage 2 substation (MEED 19:6:08).
