Royal Jordanian has reported a 30% rise in the number of passengers it carried in May compared to May 2007. The airline carried 215,000 passengers in May this year, against 166,000 in May last year and its seat factor average rose from 64% to 70%. The carrier said its passenger numbers rose 21% during the first five months of 2008, while its fuel expenses rose 91% year-on-year.
