Saad Khodr

Biography: Saad Khodr has more than 20 years’ experience in transportation engineering, including planning, design and construction in Qatar and the US.

Khodr previously worked for the Department of Planning for the city of Seattle in Washington state and the Department of Transportation, also in Washington in the US.

He joined the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning in Doha in May 2006. Before becoming senior transportation engineer, he was the project coordinator for Qatar’s Transport Master Plan.

He is involved in several other studies including the Qatar National Bicycle Master Plan, the Doha Bay Crossing and the redevelopment of Al-Rayaan street.

Khodr holds a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from Washington State University of Pullman. He also has an MBA from City University of Bellevue also in Washington.
