Global sales of mobile phones fell nearly 1% in 2009, their first decline eight years, according to a report by research company Gartner. However, the market is expected to rebound in 2010, with growth of 11 to 13%, the report said. Sales of mobile handsets in the final quarter were up 8.3% on the previous year.
