Samer Abdel Kader joined SEI in April 2013 and was appointed head of the Middle East office in December 2014. Kader is charged with leading a team responsible for developing a customised solution for end of service benefit schemes in the Middle East and promoting SEIs global fiduciary management expertise in the region. In addition, SEI works with sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, corporates and family offices in the Middle East, covering asset management and investment operations.
Before joining SEI, Kader spent two years at Emirates NBD Asset Management, where he was responsible for the distribution of the banks range of equity, fixed income and alternative asset funds to the banks clients.
Kader started his career in investment banking with Shuaa Capital where he spent 5 years. He was responsible for the execution and distribution of the banks IPO and private placement mandates in the GCC and abroad.
