Yesser to increase efficiency and return on investment of networks

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Communications and Technology (MCIT) is building a communications network and data centre for the country’s e-government project Yesser.

Yesser provides lines of communication between government departments to enable them to communicate with one another and with citizens online.

“Our e-government initiative is designed to raise the productivity and efficiency of the public sector in Saudi Arabia,” says MCIT assistant director general Ahmad Alkhiary.

US-based Juniper Networks is providing the ministry with the switching, routing and security services.
