Saudi Arabia’s National Water Company (NWC) has awarded a contract to a consortium led by Japan’s Mizuho to provide advisory services for water distribution services throughout the kingdom.
The contract is part of a wider privatisation strategy to increase the size of the country’s water distribution network and boost efficiency and reduce costs of the kingdom’s water and wastewater services.
Along with Mizuho, US-based White & Case is providing legal services with the UK’s Atkins providing procurement advisory services.
