The Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) plans to send Saudis in the tourism sector for training abroad to gain more experience in tourism training and education, Arab News has reported. The plan is part of a joint initiative with the Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF) aimed at enhancing the kingdom's tourism sector. With well-trained staff, the local tourism sector would help prop up the economy, HRDF director general, Ahmed Mansour Al-Zamil said.
