Saudi Arabian Airlines orders $300M in engines

Saudi Arabian Airlines has ordered CFM56-5B engines worth $300m to power 22 new Airbus A320 planes, reported AP. Commercial aircraft engine maker CFM International is a 50/50 joint venture between Safran group's Snecma and General Electric. Saudi Arabian Airlines has used the same type of engine in 20 leased Airbus A320s.
