Two Aramco pipe contracts worth a combined $67m
Saudi Aramco has awarded the local Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SSP) two contracts to supply oil country tubular goods (OCTG) steel pipes that will be produced at the companys manufacturing facility at Dammam in the Eastern province.
The deal is worth a total of $67m and the pipes will be produced and delivered between the second and fourth quarters of 2014.
SSP has a rolling contract to supply pipes to Saudi Aramco and also provides products to the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (Sabic) and other key clients in the kingdom.
