Saudi commission issues tender for Jubail labour camp

The Royal Commission for Jubail & Yanbu has issued a tender for the construction of a labour camp at Jubail.

The scope of the work covers grading of the land, the construction of internal roads, parking, potable and fire water distribution system, a sanitary wastewater system and electrical power.

It also covers the supply and installation of 32 pre-engineered porta-cabins at two labour camps within the Jubail industrial area.

A pre-tender meeting will be held on 25 November, with the deadline for bids on 16 December 2008.

Jubail is in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia on the Gulf coast.

The industrial city is undergoing a second phase of expansion by a further 54 square kilometres, to be known as Jubail 2 when completed (16:10:08).
