The scope of work covers the infrastructure of the project including site preparation earthworks, roads, parking and walkways, a storm drainage system, an irrigation system, electrical power distribution, a telecoms network, landscaping and recreational facilities.
The project duration is expected to be two years.
The deadline for bids is 23 December, with a pre-bid meeting scheduled to be held on 1 December.
In July China Harbour Engineering Company signed a $100m contract for the dredging and excavation for the Waterfront development.
The work includes the dredging of basins, swimming lagoons and channels, and the construction of beaches, bridges and offshore islands protected by a sea wall (MEED 24:7:08).
