The Saudi health ministry has signed a technical cooperation agreement with Japan’s International Medical Alliance (IMA) on organ transplant, Arab News has reported. The agreement covers all hospitals in the kingdom that function under the health ministry, including Dammam’s King Fahd Specialist Hospital, which specialises in organ transplants. Under the agreement, Saudi transplant specialists are to visit Japan and update their experiences with the latest advances made in the field.
