Biography: Sebastien Pavie is Safenet regional sales director for the Middle East and Africa regions. He joined the company in March 2004, following the acquisition of Rainbow Technologies, where he was channel sales manager, Northern & Eastern Europe.

Sebastien held several sales positions at SafeNet, looking after large sales territories from different offices across Europe. He then moved to Dubai in August 2009 to establish the companies first presence in the Middle East and in May 2011 he was promoted to regional sales director, MEA.

Sebastien started his career in 1998 as a commercial officer of the French Embassy in Jordan. In 2000 he moved to US IT Security company Rainbow Technologies as business developer for Northern & Eastern Europe, and a year later he was promoted to the role of channel sales manager, establishing multiple sales channels for the company over the following 4 years.

With more than 12 years of experience working in IT Security Sebastien has a broad expertise in fields such as: cryptography, network security, PKI, anti-piracy, license management, client & server security, storage, access control and authentication.

Sebastien holds a master in management from the Reims Management School, France. He is fluent in French and English, has some knowledge of German, Arabic and Thai, and has a deep local culture awareness, as well as a thorough understanding of its ways of working.
