The Transport & Communications Ministry has awarded National Engineering Services of Pakistan (Nespak) with France’s Aeroports de Paris (AdP)
the contract to provide project management services on the expansion of Seeb International Airport and Salalah Airport (MEED 24:2:06).

The joint venture priced the contract at RO 7.6 million
($19.7 million) when bids were submitted in April.

Three other companies were competing for the contract, which involves supervising the design and construction of the airport expansions. A partnership of Denmark’s Cowi and the local Larsen Architects is the project consultant. Both projects are expected to include the construction of a new terminal.
