Saudi Arabia shipped 7.84 million barrels a day (b/d) of oil in September, an eight-year high for the world’s largest exporter.

According to the Joint Organisation Data Initiative (Jodi), the kingdom produced an average of 10.12 million b/d. A total of 1.51 million b/d was processed by domestic oil refineries and 658,000 b/d being burned for power generation.

The kingdom’s oil production dropped in October to 9.75 million b/d.
