Shadi Ramzi al-Majali

Biography: Shadi Ramzi al-Majali is CEO of Jordan’s ADC, which is undertaking the $5bn regeneration of the Red Sea port of Aqaba.
Before joining ADC in 2010, Al-Majali was the general manager of Jordan’s Saraya Aqaba Real Estate Development Company. Prior to this, he was the commissioner of customs and revenues, and a member of the board of commissioners of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority. Al-Majali has also worked in the telecoms industry, as general manager of Trans Jordan For Communication Services Company.
Before this, he was general manager of Al-Nisr Advanced Communications. Al-Majali graduated from Citadel Military College in the US, and holds a master’s certificate in software engineering from the US’ George Washington University.
Al-Majali is chairman of the board of Aqaba Ports Marine Services Company and Aqaba Airports Company.
