Existing service contract on Dolphin Energy turbines extended
Siemens has signed a contract with Abu Dhabis Dolphin Energy to extend an existing service agreement on turbine trains for an additional 18 years.
Under the terms of the agreement, Germany-based Siemens will provide service and maintenance for nine aero-derivative gas turbines with nine centrifugal compressors operating at Dolphin Energys gas plant in Ras Laffan, Qatar.
The contract will be managed through the Siemens Qatar team at Dolphin Energys offices in Doha and at the main operational site in Ras Laffan.
Dolphin Energy is a joint venture of Abu Dhabi-based Occidental Petroleum, US group Occidental Petroleum and Frances Total. It operates a network of pipelines connecting Qatars offshore gas fields to the UAE gas network.
