Germanys Siemens has been awarded a contract by Bahrains Electricity & Water Authority (EWA) to install a new high-voltage electricity transmission network and associated substations.
Siemens will upgrade Bahrains national power transmission network to 400kV, which will improve the transmission network and allow further expansion of Bahrains generation infrastructure.
