Germany’s Siemens has been awarded a contract to provide four shunt reactors to Oman Electricity Transmission Company to install at 400kV substations.
The shunt reactors will be installed at 400kV substations at Izki and Ibri.
Siemens was awarded the contract by India’s Larsen & Toubro (L&T), which was awarded the contract to install 400kV reactor transformers and associated works at Izki and Ibri in March 2016.
