Simplex wins Dubailand tower contract

India’s Simplex Infrastructures has been awarded the main construction contract for the AED1.3bn ($360m) G-Emporium project at City of Arabia in Dubailand.

The project involves the construction of two 280-metre tall, 45-floor towers. One will be residential and the other will be offices.

Al-Habtoor STFA Soils Group is the piling contractor. Alex Vacha of India is the architect.

GIO Developments is the client (MEED 23:9:05).
