Team has completed work in the stadium
A joint venture of Belgiums Six Construct and the local Al-Muhaidib Trading & Contracting Establishment has been awarded a SR70m ($19m) contract to build an administration building at the King Abdullah Sports City development near Jeddah.
In 2011 the joint venture was awarded the estimated SR2bn ($533m) contract to build the 60,000-seat stadium. Work on the stadium has been completed.
The scheme is being developed on behalf of the government by state oil major Saudi Aramco. UK-based Arup is the consultant on the scheme.
