Sofitel, the hospitality brand managed by France's Accor, has announced the opening of a new five-star property in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province, Arab News has reported. Located at the seafront of the city of Alkhobar, Sofitel Alkhobar Hotel comprises 229 rooms, including 30 suites and one royal suite. The hotel also has three restaurants and lounges, a covered pool and a relaxation centre, eight fully equipped halls, including a grand ballroom that can accommodate up to 500 guests.
