Sony to post net loss of $1.65bn

Sony has announced that it expects to post a net loss of $1.65bn, and an operating loss of $2.86bn, for the financial year ending in March. This marks a direct turnaround from previously predicted profits of $1.65bn and operating profits of $2.2bn. The group pinpointed the flagging electronics market, slow sales and the strength of the Yen as key reasons behind the turnaround.
