The two other US bidders for the contract, which is part-funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID), were American International Contractors (AICI)and Morganti Group. The contract calls for the construction of two pressure break tanks, with combined capacity of 5,500 cubic metres, and three new concrete reservoirs and modifications to three existing reservoirs, as well as the construction of nine pressure reducing stations and pipeline networks (MEED 21:5:04).
