Saudi Arabia's Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu has completed basic infrastructure designs for five projects worth over SR1.1bn to develop Yanbu's seafront, Arab News has reported. The new developments along the 11-km seafront include green areas, beaches, amusement parks, hotels, restaurants, car parks, and pavements for pedestrians and a long Corniche. "The projects will contribute to the creation of a strong base for tourism in the region and will diversify the economic base of the city," a spokesman for the Royal Commission said.
