ST-Ericsson to cut 1,200 jobs

ST-Ericsson, the wireless technology company created in February by French-Italian group STMicroelectronics and Sweden's Ericsson has announced in a statement that it is cutting 1,200 jobs worldwide, out of a total of 8,000, due to declining sales and 'a limited visibility as to an improvement in the market.'
