The contractor is expected to issue for tender in May a $8 million-12 million mechanical & electrical (M&E) subcontract package and a waterproofing subcontract. It is also preparing further subcontracts for the facades and finishes. The M&E package is particularly critical because much of the work is integrated into the concrete superstructure, for which construction is expected to begin by the end of April.

BHV is a Parisian household goods department store targeting middle-income consumers and will be the first European-style department store in Lebanon.
