The UAE's General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has imposed a temporary ban on Sudan-based Azza Transport from operating in the country after last week's crash of its Boeing 707 on takeoff from Sharjah International Airport, Khaleej Times has reported. The ban is a preventive measure until investigations into the cause of the crash are completed, the authority said.
