Qatar Electricity & Water will raise its stake to 80 per cent
Qatar Electricity & Water will complete its acquisition of a majority stake in Ras Laffan Energy within two days, the Qatari utility company’s general manager told Bloomberg. Qatar Electricity & Water will raise its stake in the power producer to 80 per cent from 25 per cent, by buying the additional shares from AES Ras Laffan Operating Company, Fahad al-Mohannadi said in Doha.
