Deals includes engineering work on upgrade of export flow measurement at several fields
- Group to also carry out studies on plant modifications at South East Asset
- Two sub-contracts awarded for projects carried out by Al-Asab
Tebodin has won several contracts for engineering works on projects operated by Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Petroleum Operations (Adco) in the UAE, according to a source familiar with the deals.
Tebodin was awarded a front-end engineering and design (feed) contract on the upgrade of oil export flow measurement at Adcos onshore oil fields.
Adco is upgraded the existing field measuring facilities to increase accuracy and installing facilities for system calibration by using mobile prover systems.
The scope of the project includes modifications and new facilities at the Asab, Bab, Bu Hasa and Rumaitha oil fields. It also includes a feasibility study to check if the existing metering systems can be upgraded at the Sahil, Shah, Qusahwira and Mender fields.
Adco also appointed Tebodin as engineering consultant to carry out studies and engineering for plant modifications at the South East Asset oil fields. The studies include new compressors and a fire detection system at the Shah operation and the replacement of single isolation valves at Sahil.
Tebodin has also won two sub-contracts on Adco projects under the main engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor, UAE-based Al-Asab Contracting Establishment.
The contracts are for residual engineering on both the onshore gas development 1 (OGD-1) trunk lines replacement and a project to install a depressurisation header and associated facilities at gas injection trunk lines at Habshan.
The latter project is to help meet Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) targets to reduce flaring.
In June, Tebodin was awarded a feed contract for an off-spec condensates storage tank in Abu Dhabi by Al-Hosn Gas.
Tebodin is a company of the international engineering and services group Bilfinger SE.
