Tenaris, a global manufacturer and supplier of seamless and welded steel pipe products, has announced the inauguration of its first plant in Saudi Arabia, Tenaris Saudi Arabia. Located in the second Industrial City of Dammam, the plant has the capacity to produce 35,000 tonnes of OCTG pipes from 5 ½” to 13 3/8” in accordance with API 5CT and Saudi Aramco standards. The plant will be dedicated to manufacturing the latest TenarisHydril premium connection technology and proprietary steel grades, according to Aramco’s requirements.
