The local Al-Fattan Properties has extended the tender closing date for its Burj Al-Fattan project to 28 February from 31 January, to give bidders more time to prepare.
The contract involves the construction of a 96-storey mixed-use tower in Dubai Marina on the site of the old Oasis Beach hotel (MEED 20:1:09).
The prospective bidders include the joint venture of the local Al-Habtoor Engineering Enterprises with South Africa's Murray & Roberts Contractors (Middle East), the local Alec, Lebanon's Arabian Construction Company (ACC), the local Arabtec Construction, and the local/Australian Nasa Multiplex.
UK-based Mace International is the project manager.
