The prospective bidders are Greece’s Athena, the joint venture of the local/Lebanese Arabian Construction Company and Hong Kong’s Leader Marine, China Harbour Engineering Company, the local Overseas AST, and the local/Belgian Six Construct Abu Dhabi.
The works cover the construction of a 300-metre-long quay wall that will provide berthing for military vessels during the IDEX 2009 exhibition.
The consultant is the UK’s Halcrow (MEED 3:8:07).
