Bids have been submitted by seven consortia for a revived project to build a new international lines terminal on a build-operate-transfer (BOT) basis at Istanbul's Ataturk international airport. Client for the $250 million project is the state airports administration (DHMI).
The bids were submitted by the following ventures of local with foreign companies:
Bayindir Holding and the US' Airport Group International
Yuksel Insaat and Yazeks with Germany's Lufthansa
Ceylan Insaat with Belgium's Tractebel, Ireland's Aerrianta International, and the Netherlands' NV Besix
Akfen with Bilkent Holding and a Spanish company identified as Johnson's Control - Bowlees
Alsim-Alarko and the US' Airport Development and ADS
Tekfen and Intes with the US' American Airlines
